Very tiring but accomplished day today. First of all....I went to bed at around 2 AM last night because nancy came back really late. Then I woke up around 4:30 AM and couldn't go back to bed. My head started hurting and then I had the biggest urge to throw up...which I did. I think the dessert my mom made didn't go down so well so I threw that all up...it was not pleasant...again....I don't know how bulimic people do it. So I stayed up for a while...my dad gave me some herbal medicine to calm my stomach down when he woke up. I was able to fall back to sleep after that and didn't wake up till like 12:30. Still...I was still tired and my head hurt still. I delivered some flowers that my mom bought for her old boss and then bought nancy and dustin lunch. After that we went to this oriental store where I picked up some fresh ingredients for my mom's dish tomorrow.
I'm sooooooo proud of myself today. I learned how to cook two very delicious dishes, ga xao xa uot...chicken with lemon grass and bun bo hue...a type of beef soup with vermicelli in it. I'm really happy because I want to learn how to make a lot of delicious dishes so that I can cook for Paul in the future. He loves food soooo much and Vietnamese food is sooo delicious...and my mom is such a good cook...it would be such a waste not to learn how to cook them. so I did....I can't wait to learn the rest of the dishes on my list of items to learn. So far...I've learned three. hahahah.....but I got the basic down...and so I think that I'll be very successful in the future when I'm trying to cook some meat plate for Paul....Yay.....happy feeling. Tomorrow is mommy's day!!!!!!!!!!
