Everybody's trying to make us / another century of fakers. . .

So.
or--trying to force myself to stop revising! individual poems and figure out some concept of organization. . . whether my efforts did in fact fail miserably only time will tell, I suppose. Anyway, it's over. And now I can just feel stupid for leaving things in the photo scanner at Target, running out of print quota, and having to collate 14 copies of 50 pages. . .yeah, I ended up missing class anyway and had to drop copies off in my instructor's mailbox. I feel like a fraud.

The copy of Interview with a Vampire I borrowed from the library got all fragmented two-thirds through, so I guess I'll have to watch the rest in the MRC before class Thursday.

I had a midterm today, and don't think I did abominably despite only reading two-thirds of the material and not studying.

So instead, I watched a documentary about a Chinese jeans factory on WQED. It was poignant, and well, depressing. Now Charlie Rose is on, but I think I've had enough of current events. . .

I have a class presentation tomorrow in my English Ed. course. Meh. I didn't/won't get in any teaching observation hours this week. Hopefully, I can manage to complete the required 15 hours, you know, so I don't FAIL. ::Sigh:: I found out today, from one of the girls in my presentation group that I didn't actually need to fulfill my hours at my assignment, which means I could have gone home for spring break and gone to school with my dad like my parents suggested. It would have been so much easier, and probably a lot more enjoyable, considering the teacher I'm currently observing doesn't seem to do more than hand out worksheets, and have in-class reading time. The last two days I went I ended up watching the movie Holes with the class. Oh, yeah, and I got assigned to sixth grade (the monsters!) when I requested high school. Complete. Waste. Of. Time.

Hard to believe it been just about exactly two years. And I still miss living there. Luckily Rachel's studying there next year gives me an excuse to spend a month or so in the UK this Fall. Yay.

I think I should probably go to
sleep.
