From Cambridge

Dec 16, 2003 10:45

Yup, writeing from Cambridge. It's 3:45 in the morning in Canada. And I love it :) Yes, I've got 4 more minutes to blow on this computer before they start actually charging me for it's use, so I shall hafto be particullerly fast! Very very pretty place, a little bit too much like the Weasley house from harry potter( that is that alot of the houses are very chaotic seeming, piping just ADDED to the outside of the houses, multiple chimneys). I saw Platform 9 3/4, on other harry potter topics, I'll try and get a picture of it next time I go through(yes, it's labled). Very easy flight oddly enough, I thought I'd be miserable but I was fine. Sat next to a fellow who thought the gold market was the place to be, that ate up perhaps 3 hours of the trip. Mixed with dicussions of gold he gave me various pieces of information about the coming tribulation(yes, the tribulation), in which the faithfull will be taken into heaven. He seemed a bit taken aback when I wasn't so optimistic as he(not that I was rude, I was pretty carefull about what I said, 9 hours is a long time for awkward silence). Saw the hulk, that too was neat. I have 50 seconds left. My room is small, cold, and I got up at 6 this morning. miserably sick(yes, I feal your pain emily). Not that sick actually, I've used almost half a box of kleenix though. I'm out now. using napkins. TTYL
