Dude, today was pretty cool
..unlike yesterday. It seemed like everything I did was off. Which isn't terribly unusual, under these recent circumstances. *sigh* I think yesterday was a bad day for anything animal-related. I think the whole day was ill-favored, period.
I talked to Marvin (one of my supervisors) on Saturday about transferring to the other Dollar General in Park n' Shop, near my house. He said he'd call the manager over there and talk to him. Well, I got a surprising phone call tonight from Donnie (my current manager). He told me I didn't have to work this week!! OMG!! This is so awesome!!! :) He said he had to cut like 40 hours off the schedule. He didn't exactly tell me why, but I dunno. Something's going on. Anyway, I don't have to work on Tuesday or Thursday this week. I said I appreciated him calling me and hung up. Then I get another call from Donnie saying that I can start at the DG in P&S on Saturday! Yay!!! :) Less for me to have to travel to work now. Yay for me! :) Hehe. I still have to talk to the manager over there, Richard, before I can start. I guess he wants to talk with me before things are set in order or whatever. Anyway, I'm happy!! :)
I actually did some research on elementals this afternoon after my mom left for Culpeper. I learned how to invoke and banish the elements, and then I got some detailed information on colors & days of the week. :) I've been listening to Robert "Tree" Cody, along with a little SRV (I am so addicted to his music!! :P) and flipping thru my Silver RavenWolf book for relevant information.
Maybe it's just me, maybe I was just clumsy and oblivious - who knows. Anyway, something is seriously going on with my cat and I wanna find out what & why. I wanna take her to the vet too, cuz she is due for a check-up. And then get her that medicine for her back cuz she keeps biting herself. Anyhow, I'm off to bed. :)
