First off: Sorry for not updating in a looong time. I have two really good reasons to it
1. My Fuji-computer's internet has been a real bitch and been offline for over two weeks in a row at one point. Now it's on and off connected to the internet so I better type fast before Fuji decides to shut my connection off again~ XD
2. this reason breaks my heart and it's no fun to tell but I'm tired of being quiet about it and not whine and bitch instead my parents are having serious issues and my mom is moving out T___T She's already found an apartment and bought it. Thank you Carita for being there for me through this tough time. *hugs*
But let's not get into my problems :D I promised some of my friends on lj a fic, right? Actually I promised to write two. One TezukaFuji [a.k.a. my OTP] and one Akame [a.k.a. my RPSOTP...sneaky, eh? ^^ Now I can have TWO OTPs *fufufu*]. My problem was that whenever I began writing on something I couldn't keep it short. Kind of like now XD And so I ended up with several potential stories that no way would fit in under one year, this year, since my New Year's Eve resolution was two fics this year @___@ .......
Anyway. Here is now a short one-shot on TezukaFuji *bows* I'm sorry, but the Akame one pwns my mind and I have to get it done first. After the loooooooong Akame one I will start working on my not-equally-long-but-really-long-anyway-TezukaFuji-fic. The Akame one will start coming out shortly after this one-shot. It's an AU fic that takes place in prison. BEWARE it is freaking long. I haven't even finished it and it is over 130-something pages on the word program now. It is also something I have been inspired to write from various places so it may be more than a little...weird eh, special?
*tapes something over her mouth shut* Honestly, Myml, stop talking!
Fic: What only I notice about you
Pairing: TezukaFuji
Rating: for once nothing much, probably pg or pg-13.
Dedicated to: All TezukaFuji fans, but mostly to those I made my resolution to. ♥
Thank you, Cata, for beta-reading~ AGAIN XD
What only I notice about you
Tezuka gritted his teeth together, his fists tightening even further and turning his knuckles white. He fought the urge to sneak an arm around the slender form walking next to him as one more pair of eyes, this time belonging to a guy probably around the same age as they were and walking past them, roamed over his boyfriend’s body a couple of times.
Not that he could really blame them; guys, girls, everyone he caught checking his boyfriend out. Fuji was beautiful. From a first impression you could find him to be almost normal, but if you shot him one glance too much you would only find yourself hypnotized.
As they stopped by an ice cream shop near a park Tezuka could see the girl behind the desk blush crimson red as she handed Fuji his order. Fuji only smiled gratefully, as if not noticing anything, and Tezuka accepted his next, his brown eyes never leaving his boyfriend’s closed ones.
“It’s a beautiful day today.” Fuji commented as they sat down on a bench together. “I wish I had brought my camera along.”
“There’ll be other days fit for photos.” Tezuka said what he had really meant to be consoling. Fuji smiled warmly at him.
At the moment everything seemed so peaceful again. It was just the two of them, alone on a spring day after school sitting in the park…and that guy just now almost stumbled over a rock seeing the way Fuji was enjoying his ice cream.
Tezuka tightened his fists together again, almost squishing the ice cream he held and proceeded to eat a little faster because when they were done he could ask Fuji if he wanted to come over to Tezuka’s place next and then Tezuka could lock the beautiful tensai away from the rest of the world to drool over and have his way with him instead.
Tezuka sighed in an attempt to try to calm down and reminded himself that he was lucky. There was no way people would dare to try to steal Fuji away from him, no matter how much they might want to. That was the upside of being a feared and respected captain that people rather be far away from for different reasons. He was just happy that that wasn’t the case with Fuji, but that the tensai was actually kind of intrigued by him instead.
“You were fast.” Fuji chuckled as the smaller boy finally finished up his ice cream, licking his fingers clean with the same tongue Tezuka knew for a fact could drive you crazy.
“Ah.” Tezuka replied. “I’ve got to get some homework done now. Would you like to come over to my place?”
They both knew homework be damned. Yes, even Tezuka could forget about homework when it came to Fuji, although most of the time they did finish their duties first before letting go and engaging in activities Tezuka wasn’t going to postpone for longer than what it took for them to reach his room.
Fuji said yes, knowing exactly what he had in mind, and off they went.
They had barely closed the front door when the self-restraint that had kept them from reaching out to touch each other was thrown aside together with various clothes.
Fuji was a challenge Tezuka had never known before and Tezuka hated not knowing. He was a bit of a knowledge seeker. He sought to know and as a result one day found himself completely in love with the mysterious tensai he now dipped onto his bed and started to ravish.
He had never thought of himself as a passionate person before… maybe when it came to tennis, but Fuji succeeded in bringing that emotion out of him better than a racket and a couple of balls. Fuji could make him lose control and feel things he had never imagined existed.
But to be fair, Tezuka knew it wasn’t only one-sided. Fuji opened up when he was with Tezuka. Fuji could let him sit and stare into two ocean blue eyes for a whole evening if Tezuka so wanted to. Fuji’s face would reflect various emotions that Tezuka knew he was the cause of, just like right now.
So in the end no matter how much people stared at the creature that now lay panting heavily underneath him, Tezuka knew Fuji was only his.
~
The next morning the sun was shining as brightly as it had the previous day on their little after-school-date. It looked like it was going to be another picture-perfect day. Thankfully it wasn’t so hot yet, otherwise practice wouldn’t be as enjoyable.
Suddenly the smile on his face almost failed.
One more girl looked his boyfriend’s way. After that one more guy looked ready to swoon under the captain.
Fuji shot his boyfriend a look.
Couldn’t Tezuka feel the eyes upon him? Didn’t the captain catch people gazing at him for longer periods of times? Was it only Fuji who noticed them doing that?
A wider smile spread onto his face, replacing the failed one. Tezuka didn’t know. Fuji was lucky. Tezuka had no idea of how handsome he was. Mr. Perfect with everything from looks to good manners and a heart so true, even though Tezuka could appear so stoic that people sometimes doubted he even had one.
But Fuji knew there was more to Tezuka than what met the eye.
He relaxed again, although seeing plenty of girls turn to look their way. Nobody would try to come in between them and if anyone tried Fuji had what it took to beat them in their own games. It was a good thing people feared his sadism and schemes, that way they didn’t want to cross with him or steal what was his.
Fuji closed the distance between him and Tezuka a bit as they continued to walk to school. Only Tezuka didn’t fear him…most of the time at least. Tezuka, for reason’s unknown to Fuji, had come to want to know him and fallen for him. Tezuka had broken through the walls Fuji had slowly created around himself.
It may sound silly but he took pride in walking next to Tezuka, knowing that others suspected them to be more than just friends. It was the sadism in him that enjoyed seeing the jealous faces as Tezuka opened the locker room door and held it open for Fuji to enter first.
Tezuka would never know what it was Fuji saw in him, what others also saw in him. Tezuka would never know what he had that attracted people to him, never mind the position as the feared captain.
“You’re in a good mood this morning.” the sound of his boyfriend’s deep voice made Fuji snap back to reality and he turned to the taller boy with a warm smile, blue eyes meeting brown.
“Ah, you could tell that easily?” he asked while knowing he couldn’t have hidden that from his sharp boyfriend. Tezuka nodded.
They were early, of course, so no one else was there but they decided to change into their regular outfits already. Maybe they would have time to practice together for a while before the other club members started to show up.
“Ne, do you want to come back to my place today after school?” Fuji then asked where he was changing and Tezuka shot him a slightly surprised look. “It’s such a beautiful day today and I’d like it if I could bring my camera along in case we go out somewhere later.”
Tezuka nodded again. “That sounds good.”
“Also…” Fuji murmured, slipping out of his shirt and into his regulars’ one instead. “We could do our homework at my place before heading out…”
And to that the captain almost dropped his regulars’ jersey he was just about to put on. He doubted for a moment, pressed back a small smile and then locked eyes with Fuji again. No words spoken, no physical contact shared, yet they both had managed to get the message through to each other.
“Don’t work too hard today.” Tezuka said and Fuji chuckled.
“It’s funny to hear you say that. Isn’t that my line anyway?” he replied and picked up his racket, following Tezuka out of the locker room and onto the still empty courts.
