What ever happened to the wave?
You know that courtesy wave that someone would give you if you let them in your lane. That used to be a driving standard. Let someone, they wave. It showed appreciation and thankfulness. Well maybe not but still it was a nice gesture.
Over the years I've noticed a distinct lack of waving going on. It's been less and less and now I can't remember the last time I saw one. Oh sure, I still do my part and I give a wave when someone is decent enough to let me in. But more times than not when the situation is reversed I find myself letting someone in and then gripping the wheel while exclaiming, "Where's my fuckin' wave?!"
