(no subject)
HI livejournal!
It's about time for an update: I have officially started lectures, and they are quite pleasing. Japanese is quite scary, but i'm getting there... almost.
I get to go home in a weeks time, and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to seeing my little ol' house in the hills again, ooohh, home cooking.
Also, I will get to pick up the clothes I stupidly left behind, and the SCARF my mother knitted for me a couple of winters ago. It. Is. Freezing. Maybe it's just my decreasing body weight - I'm used to carrying more insulation.
Yesterday I went supermarket shopping in a taxi (!!) and bought yummy things, and, except for fruit/vegetables/milk I won't need to go shopping for a couple of weeks now, says I.
Yesterday I also felt rather homesick and cried a bit, but Paul always helps me, because he's the best. I got a note under my door:
