Summary:
Sam’s too cold to be embarrassed by how quickly he scrambles to get in there. It’s a tight fit, getting two grown men into one regular sized sleeping bag, but they make it work. Bucky shifts this way, Sam slithers that way. Bucky pulls Sam flush against his chest, Sam tries not to dwell on it. Bucky breathes hot air onto Sam’s exposed neck, Sam tucks his ice-cold toes in between Bucky’s legs. Bucky sighs contentedly, Sam wills his dick into submission.
(Or 5 times Sam and Bucky are forced to share a bed + 1 time they choose to.)
Rec Notes: Set post-CACW with a slightly AU ending, this is Sam and Bucky road tripping themselves to Wakanda. Great Sam POV with plenty of snark (look, the whole Civil War thing was stressful for Sam, okay?) that makes the moments of vulnerability all the better. I love so much how the bitching makes Sam feel like he's on more stable ground and, meanwhile, Bucky seems to find it both comforting and hilarious while being a little shit just because. The threads of Sam seeing who Bucky is besides just the Winter Soldier, and the glimpses we readers get as a result, really made it into a solid pairing for me but is also a very nice post-CACW characterization in general.

Rec Notes: A straight forward case of as the summary says with post-rescue hurt/comfort and first time getting together. Nicely done and a good read.
