Statements from a Bookmark Clean-Up
- Fucking Delicious and its single paragraph formatting. It's going to take me at least 2 weeks just to get through the mess imported in 2011.
- Locked journals/fic entries. Sigh.
- Deleted and purged journals. *mourns*
- Fucking kink-memes and frozen threads with dangling WiPs.
- SO MANY broken fanart image links. *weeps*
- Self, that was a stupid bookmark formatting decision in 2009. How long until we get past this phase.
- "Abandoned WiP, abandoned WiP, abando- holy crap, that one finished."
- Lack of minute length on vid posts. I realize this isn't generally considered essential, but. I needs it.
- "What the hell was I thinking when I wrote that rec note??"
I am spending a lot of time torn between being grateful all over again for AO3's standardized header with ratings, pairings, and word counts (!!!11!!1!) and horror stricken over it ever disappearing into the void.
I'm also doing a lot of division:
"So I have it set at 160 items per page... if I do 2 pages per day - gah - and there's roughly 11,500 items, then it'll take me... oh god."
"Okay, okay, so I imported about 4,400 bookmarks in 2011 with no goddamn hard returns, so if I'm doing 320 items per day - gah - then it'll get easier after how many days? Oh, ugh."
Absolutely in denial about any messes I'll run across where I did a spate of "Quick! Bookmark it and fix it later!" I plan on remaining in that denial as long as possible.
