Teen Wolf Recs
I was castigating myself earlier for feeling tired despite having just finished up cooking a large pot roast with mashed potatoes, rabbit soup in the crock-pot, chickpeas which were then turned into hummus, and having washed up the first round of dishes. It was a standard self-defeating mechanism for me (regardless of how much I do or don't do, it will be inadequate to the part of my brain that I haven't yet bludgeoned into submission), and proved to particularly eye-rolling when I realized that a) it was dim, gray, cold, and rainy outside, and b) my allergies acted up all morning, which means tired regardless, and usually a nap, for that matter. I did in fact accomplish quite a bit for an allergies winning sort of day.
Now the rabbit soup's put away, my own dinner eaten, and the second round of dishes washed and all's well. I'm still feeling lazy (obviously I should be working DAWN TO DUSK - no, shut up, brain, you're being ridiculous again), but at least trying to enjoy it at the same time.
