Reccer's Notes: Oh ho! Found on the to rec list! Well, found before that, obviously, but yes, I loved this one and I re-watch it periodically. The music suits the footage remarkably well and it's a fantastic revel in the "evil" characters of OUaT.

Reccer's Notes: The situation is one part dire without being perilous, and one part social navigation with emotional epiphany. It all left me laughing and laughing with easy fondness for Fraser's internal monologue that was so beautifully in character.

Reccer's Notes: No knowledge of Valdemar is really necessary (I didn't have any; I may have googled first, I don't recall now, but that would have been about it). Suffice it to say, Companions are "highly intelligent magical creatures" that can pass as white coated horses. And we all know about Death and white horses, yes? A Companion chooses a Herald, there is a bond, telepathy is involved, it's a gift, damnit! Methos doesn't agree. Stubborness, meet persistance. ♥
(After reading this, I thought I might actually want to read the series - then I realized, alas, I would be disappointed because they weren't the adventures of Methos and Samad.)
