Reads like a bodice ripper regency romance and an enjoyable one at that. It's all slightly ridiculous and a bit dramatic, as these things are, Erica is quite entertaining, and there's a cameo by a few well known characters from another fandom. It's a relatively long, guilty pleasure sort of read - the kind you enjoy whole heartedly but don't take too seriously.
(Admittedly, I question the decision to include Matt, even in a relatively small role, but he's sane here, and I honestly read him as an original character until I realized who "Matthew" was. I liked him as an OC, so I'll just keep pretending that's who he is.) I would add Stiles/Erica to the tags and warn for some racist language of the time period.
