This is actually the 5th part of a series, but it's a group of one-shots and therefore need not be read in order.
Almost surprisingly excellent crossover of the DCU comics into the Torchwood universe. Specifically, Jack "wakes up" sharing head space with Conner even as Tim is crossing dimensions to find him. I call it surprising since the concept could have easily been a crack fic, but it's definitely not. Great characterizations all around and a plausible meeting of the two worlds. (Well, "plausible" relative to the canons were speaking of here, which, granted, covers a lot of ground.)
Author says the "Robin/Superboy is pre-slash if you want it to be", but I'm going to say this isn't optionally gen.
Reprinting the Author's Excellent Spoilers Notes:
SPOILERS: Goes wildly AU around the time of One Year Later in the DC Universe and towards the beginning of Torchwood Season Two, but refers to/spoils later events in Torchwood up through Children of Earth. The story also mildly spoils Final Whatever Crisis in the DCU and One Year Later, and gives away a few Young Justice plot points (although if you're worried about Young Justice spoilers you should just get off your butt and go read it now because it was the best series ever).
Knowledge of Torchwood is more important to understanding the story than knowledge of the DCU, although knowledge of the DCU will help you to think some of the lamer jokes are hilarious. I have included a primer for both shows here.
