*Yawn*
Today was the kind of day that looks okay on paper, but only if you don't know how much work was involved with most of the items.
· watered fall planting in garden
· hosed out manure spreader (the manure came in it and is now on garden, D is repairing the spreader and sending it to auction in the beginning of September)
· (electronic) mailing with jinjur
· two batches of diced and roasted sweet potato
· made and canned roasted tomato sauce
· made beef bone stock (resting in outside fridge, to go in the pressure canner tomorrow)
· end of the day kitchen clean-up, which deserves it's own bullet point
And that's it for the main list. There were random other things, either inherent to the above (dishes, all day) or usual chores (making up the pups food) or filler bits (cutting some more quilt squares). The thing is I am really damn tired and that list should jolly well be two or three times as long for as worn out as I am! Sheesh.
On the bright side, the weather has been fantastic the last few days. I didn't even have to run the air conditioner despite having the oven on all day. There's some rain possible this weekend, but the temperatures are predicted to stay in the upper 70's to lower 80's at least for the rest of the week. THANK YOU. \o/
