I suddenly thought of this the other day. I'd misremembered it as being the MTV awards, and an audience of VIPs sitting on tables and chairs, rather than a proper crowd up front. and Beck was wearing different clothes. Maybe that performance did really exist, but this is pretty good too. Although it doesn't have slightly shell-shocked VIPs in it, with a slightly-too-close-for-comfort Beck writhing around on the floor, chanelling his inner Prince and yet probably simultaneously taking the piss too.
