okay okay
i spent another day tidying my room. well, not exactly, the room's tidyish, so i got all the boxes of books from downstairs and have been trying to make sense of them. i never knew i had so many books - i never really bought them until about 2006, but actually now i have a lot. they're all mixed up in boxes and i never know where to find things, so i thought i'd organise them, but they're not very categorisable, and it's making my head hurt a bit. so far, i have a box of novels, and a box of foreign language stuff, maps and dictionaries, and some instructional stuff. the rest is a a mix of graphics, art and photography (nice to look at books), architecture for looking at, architecture/theory for reading, instructional stuff on photography, crochet and origami, general interesting non-fiction reads, old childrens books... and endless architecture magazines. trying to match boxes to piles.
the last box i emptied had at the bottom of it some music scores i took to london and lost. bonus!
i hate how the world sort of catches up on you even if you try and ignore it. i said i'd do some work for tomorrow. it aint done.
