I stood on a Thirteen.
A three and a King were staring at my face. I gazed intently at the dealer's hand. A five he got down there. Should I hit or stand? Hopefully draw a small card and strenghten my hand...or give him the picture card and screw his entire hand? He has to hit and there's a chance he might bust. There were quite a few picture cards out there on the table already. Surely the next would most likely be a small card eh?
Decisions.....decisions.....
"I am giving you the picture" as my hand waved across the table. The dealer nodded and said, "Well, let's take a look....let's take a look." He flicks the card on the table and it was a Queen.
"15"
He flicked the next card again. A ten.
"25. Too many"
The table erupted.
"Good call mate!"
"Box 7, you're a genius"
Boy that felt great. Now that's gambling.
