Wow, summer is over. I fly out to Chicago on Monday and have been in a
retrospective mood. Below are some pictures and comments
summarizing my summer.
First off, the NYC/DC road trip I did with my brother in early
August. We stayed with Emily Capo and John Connor (both UChicago
friends of mine), but mostly hung out with Darian and Deuce. We
had a blast, to say the least. And I finally got a fake ID!
The three amigos: me, Darian, and Deuce (who is obviously a fucking ghost)
In Time's Sqaure with Emily Capo (a wonderful friend, tour guide, and hostess to my brother and me)

Second, I visited my best friend Amanda Anderson several times in Farmville, VA this summer.
Amanda and her awesome family live in a newly built log cabin-type house. Very cool.
Amanda, aside from putting up with me this summer, went to Uganda for 3 weeks. Here is her by the Nile.

Last, but certainly not least, my summer has been dominated not by 40
hour work weeks within corporate amercia, not by running, not by
reading, not by being a deadbeat, but by Bridget Wild. On a
conservative estimate, I'd say we've talked a total of 200 hours
through AIM or on the phone this summer. And I don't regret a
second of it!!! This chick is a rock star; hands down the coolest
person I've met at the U of C.
*speechless*
And although she'll probably kill me for posting this, but you gotta love...
the irresistable librarian look.
