First of all, LOL at the pictures. I'm not looking forward to my time in the hospital with the birth of Aeryn either... people like to take pictures that show off the chunky swollen face of a fat pregnant lady. >.< I hated those pictures last time and i'm gonna hate them again.
I really don't have much else to say to your post.. except that the military sucks, always has and always will. It's useless for the most part. And...... uhm... I think that's it.
I think I managed to dodge the pictures before giving birth when I had Bree, unless mom got some when I wasn't paying attention. This time around, Rob got me because I was talking to Lance when Rob was getting the camera ready, so I didn't notice it until he called me and took the picture :( (Rob and Lance were the ones that drove me to the hospital and stayed with me until mom got there)
I told James that joining the military was bad idea, but no one ever listens to me when I tell them that. I've only had 4 people tell me after they joined that I was right. Lance Dilday, Justin Chetney, Rob Donnelly, and finally James. People have really gotta start paying attention...

I didn't get to dodge pictures. Jeremy loves playing with cameras, he's the one that stole shots. And then there was my mom and aunt.. that was fun.. in the sense that I should have had them shot, or tied up and gagged in some unused room in the hospital.
No one ever believes that the military is bad until they see what it's really like, then they're all 'I shoulda listened to you'. No shit Sherlock, seriously.
Ok, I like playing with cameras too, but damn. There are just some times that cameras are totally inappropriate. And your mom isn't too bright at times anyway. That sort of ranks up there with mom looking at me after I had Bree and saying "It's too bad they didn't have a mirror there so you could watch yourself give birth" O_O Umm...no? I'm sorry, feeling it was more than enough "joy" for me, there are just some things that I can live without seeing

And yeah, some people are just blind when it comes to the military, but as they said "hindsight is 20/20". They'll see it after it's too late. And then expect pity. PFFT.
