The boy smiled gently at his companion's face and held it secure, making sure Wormmon's still sound asleep in the red Christmas stocking.
The soccer player walked up the stairs and knocked on the apartment door to notify younger Yagami of his arrival. As he heard the answer, he hid the box behind him, and straightened his posture.
The door opened, and as the warm air hit his face, Ken greeted Hikari cheerfully but queitly.
"Merry christmas...Eve."
