Dude... lol. Your dad just up and offered to go with you to the parlor and get a tatt with you? Thats...wow. lol....he gets major cool points for that. He has plenty in my book, but he gets more now lol.

Yeah I know! I'm still psyched over it. Sometimes dad will do the darndest things lol. He and I don't bond as much as we should, so I'll definitely have to take him up on this... now that I know he's serious lol

I recommend Perfection Tattoo on Blanco Road, Sean (the owner) did 3 of my 4 tattoos and the majority of my Dad's tattoos.

Thanks! Dave recommended a guy a while back, but if my dad pays, I'll take quality over cheaper.

We'll probably start looking around in December after finals. :D

Well, either way I recommend stopping by before you do the tattoos. Take a look through their books of work. Talk to the person who will be doing it. You want to feel comfortable with this person. Sean, the guy I recommend, usually runs about $150 per hour (that was 4 years ago when I got my fairy kitty). Also, and this could just be me, I don't trust any tattoo artist that has no tattoos or any piercer that does not have piercings.

Congrats! My mom got her first tattoo at 40, and her brow pierced at 42. Im glad you guys are bonding!
