Musicals, Scripts, and Succubi
Happy day!
I finally got my paycheck today. Thank God!! It was a bit less than it should have been, but maybe that just means that they cut it off for the next paycheck.
My amazon book/play also came in today!! I don’t know how it happened. It wasn’t supposed to be sent to my NYC address, but it looks like the college address was scribbled out and the NYC address was written in its place. Which was surprising, because the guy who sold the book to me said that he couldn’t alter the address…so…whatever.
Also, my friend Laura and I had free tickets to the musical, ‘13’. It was such a great show! The entire cast and band (it was far from an orchestra) consist of teenagers and only teenagers. I was actually surprised at how amazing it was.
In other news, I bought Richelle Mead’s newest book, ‘Succubus Dreams’. ‘Effing. Amazing. It was a brilliant book, but it was so terribly heartbreaking!! All I could think after finishing the book was, ‘AAAGGHH!!!’ And after I read the sneak peak for the fourth book, ‘Succubus Heat’, all I could think was, ‘WTF?!?!’ I mean, I love Richelle Mead, but she’s killing me!! I mean, how could that HAPPEN?!? (Yes, I’m aware that I’m the only one who knows what I’m talking about. If you read the books, you’d know too.)
I read that book in two days. Too fast! But now I get to read it again and see how everything connects together.
P.S. I may get a chance to personally give Norbert Leo Butz my boss, Caroline’s card. She wants to know if he can teach a seminar or something like that. Just think…I could possibly touch his hand…
