definately agree with u jana about the death penalty...
but the only reason why there is capital punishment is because puttign someone in jail and keeping him there for life is very expensive and robs the state of a lot of money
i wish they would send people who are in jail for life all the way to pakistan or zimbabwe where its inexpensive to treat them like they deserve
i do too....listening to all this i dont think i believe much in the death penalty anymore. let them live with what theyve done for the rest of tehre life WHILE there getting raped with a broom. :D Scott should have gotten first degree on both accounts but oh well. I think it was fine those people started cheering when scott was guilty. I know that i was jumping up and down screaming. But i dont think they should have yelled at the parents...
yeah.. they shouldn't have taken it our on the family, they're not the sick bastards, HE is. but oh well.. we're still gonna have capital punishment as lng as bush is in office. i mean seriously, texas is still okay with the electric chair! and WHO was the govenor of texas?
I think he got second for the baby because it was his main intent to kill Lacy and not the baby.
I don't think it's fine that we think we know everything about the case when we don't. The whole trial took months. We can't just reduce everything to "Oh, he was accused of killed his wife and he cheated on her. He must be guilty." Unless we were actually there for every day of testifying and cross examinations we shouldn't make any judgements. Plus the media is so obviously anti-Scott. With that said, I do personally think Scott's guilty, but I'm not going to cheer for anything as somber and serious as this. This isn't like some baseball game. This involves real lives and real people, including the families of both the victim and the accused.
I heard executing is more expensive than keeping someone in jail for the rest of their life. But when I read over that sentence it seems highly unlikely. How much money does it take to electrocute someone? Probably nothing.
But Maryland's way more liberal than California. The farmers living in the middle of nowhere in Cali probably make the state more red. Homophobics!! haha

and it probably costs little to nothing to kill someone rather than keep them in jail for the rest of their life and feed them and whatnot.
