farah put this poem on her livejournal for me and i think it had to have been the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a very long time..
When life is too demanding
And more than you can bear
You feel like you’re all alone
And that no one really cares
Life, you feel, is not fair at all
The world is weighing you down
You’ve forgotten how to smile
Your face is etched with a frown
The only thing I know to do
Is stay close to your side
And try to bring your feelings out
When they only want to hide
I think by now that you believe
I’m always here for you
That I will never run away
Especially when you’re blue
I can’t seem to find the words
To lift you from your slump
But I can offer my presence
When you’re “down in the dumps”
So please don’t hide away from me
