Yeah. Kind of like that.
I dragged myself out of bed and over to the store to retrieve cough drops, throat lozenges, Ibuprofen, lemons, citrons, honey, more tea, water, a load of Kleenex and papertowels. The checkout girl thought I didn't want to talk to her and cracked a joke about race {she was black} as I was ready to just collapse right there. She was cute. My voice is gone and I barely managed to say "paper" when confronted with the usual question. Speaking of which, I heard that San Francisco banned plastic bags. I think it's a great idea. I've been asking for the brown paper bags for my groceries for ages now but some of the baggers will first put it in a plastic bag and *then* in the paper bag - duh! So happy to be home now and this is it for the weekend. I will stay here and play beauty without a butler or beast as I fight the evil germs.
