I'm German but grew up on 3 continents {none of them North America}.
NYC must be THE place for the 24 hour thing. =) I would absolutely love that, being such a nightowl. I've visited but never lived there.

Peru. I'm still addicted to some of the dishes, like Ocopa or Aji De Gallina. Very good food. Have you been to South America? Did you enjoy it?

I lived there for a good chunk of my life... and I've been to most of the countries in that area as well.
An excellent Peruvian restaurant just opened in my town- it's very good. :)

Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, Cameroon, Aruba :)

Most of the time was spent bouncing between Brazil and the Netherlands. Aruba was most recent. Also, though I've visited many times since, I only lived in Cameroon and Italy when I was much younger.

And yet I've never even been to Asia!
