Capitalistic Tendencies
So I'm in a shopping and cleaning mood. Every year around this time it hits and it hits hard. "Out with the old, in with the new" being the motto that seems to pre-occupy my mind. This year it's to the extreme in that I'd love to get rid of all my furniture & decor and start over from scratch. It's fairly atypical. I do like a degree of stability when it comes to my immediate environment (read: home) even if the scenery, location, country may change. It's just time for a makeover, I think.
I also want to update my wardrobe and have felt strange, alien urges to accessorize. I've never been much for jewelry but suddenly *want* it. Preferably ethnic, not the old boring western kind. Some really colorful Indian bangles may be fun. I hear these are usually used for weddings. Love them. =)
