There are 300+ different ethnic groups who speak 250+ distinct languages.
Almost 90% of Indonesians are Muslims, the remaining 10% mostly Christians, Hindus, and Buddhists.
The largest nonindigenous part of the population is of Chinese origin and controls 3/4 of the nation's wealth, while making up only 2-3% of the population.
40% of the population is under 15 years old.
