My own picture, taken in the fields in Germany last year.
I'm feeling introspective and a bit dark. Not a bad thing in context, there's a time for everything. I did stay up last night to watch the lunar eclipse; it was fabulous. The very beginning, especially, when it looked like there were clouds moving in front when, in fact, the sky was completely clear. It made me think of all the generations before us, all the way to the beginning of time, who were still ignorant and unknowing of the forces behind these events. Can you imagine what it would have been like? How scary it must have been to have the sun or the moon disappear under such "medieval" circumstances? On the other hand, I envy them in a way - for the aspect of mystery and the thrill they must have felt. Events like these make me feel connected to all humankind.
