*gasp* I'm Updating?!
.....Say it isn't sooo!!!!!!
A few things have happened since the last time I updated in june.
At the end of august, we got house mates. Our friends and their two children are staying with us until they can afford their own place. so naturally we have a house full of people & pets. Head count is 4 adults, 2 children, 8 cats and 1 dog. I'm not going to say it's hard, nor am I gonna say it's easy. It's working. No major fights, yet. Well..except the typical 13 yr old about to get grounded for life because of her smart-alec mouth, but other than that, nothing anyone can't handle.
I went to Disney World with Joni and her two kids the second week of September. It was a blast and I want to do it again next year. But with all adults. Nothing says "wasted potential" or "inhumane torture" than going to Downtown Disney to shop, looking out over the water to Pleasure Island, and knowing there aren't enough adults in your party to designate a babysitter. But, for the most part, it was fun. I got to do and see stuff that I didn't get the chance to the last time I was there. Still more to do. So, next year. Definately next year.
Now on to the best part. Saturday evening at 5:34pm, we welcomed my baby nephew, Aiden James, into the world. He weighed 7lbs. 4oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. He has all of his fingers & toes and the sweetest, squeakiest cry. He's absolutely beautiful. I posted pics on my MySpace page, but I may post some here, too, if I can remember how. *wink*
That's pretty much it. The ever winding rollercoaster that is my life. I hope, after reading all that, that you don't want to throw up from all the excitement.
