I may have ordered a couple spindles over the last few weeks. And they all arrived about the same time due to impending blizzards, odd mail delivery and other wackyness.
The first was a
Golding ring spindle. The 2″ Tsunami style at 0.5oz.
It came with a small fiber sample from
Inglenook fibers and I started spinning with it and it is a great spindle. It spins fast and long and I am seriously considering moving my spinalong fiber to it once I am done with the sample.
The second spindle I got was from
TurtleMade on Etsy. A 3D printed Mini Turkish spindle in my favorite colors. I kept being drawn to the tiny versions at Rhinebeck so I figured this was a good place to start.
Now I just have to learn how to spin with a Turkish Spindle. I have a handy sample tribble ready to be worked and some great recommendations on tutorials on Instagram. Some new crafty tools to enjoy.
