Building A Booth
So I took Thursday off to move into my booth at VKlive. Things I learned before I even got to the show? Just because your entire stock can fit into a backpack, does not mean you should wear said backpack. My shoulders and arms are still sore.
With some awesome help we made it to the booth and started setup. Our table didn’t have a skirt for some reason so instead, I used to fabric I had wrapped all my jewelry cases in as padding. I keep meaning to turn it into a skirt and a project bag or two, depending on the size of the skirt and the remaining fabric.
Yep, Batman the Animated Series fabric. Woo. Well the shop is called one Geek to Craft Them All no reason not to own it right? I may start looking around for more geeky fabrics to have a few more options. As all my fixtures are black it worked out.
They still stand out on the fabric and I actually really enjoy the look. A friend mentioned I should get a bat signal for the booth, and all I have to say to that is Next Time. Next Time.
I will be heading back later this afternoon to get the rest of the set up done, but we are doing well I would say. I just have to add some labels and set up the samples for the patterns I have available.
