WIPW: 31 Posts in January

Dec 18, 2013 15:45

For the last few years I have written 31 posts over the month of January. I think it’s a good fun way to start the year.  While there are posts that I know will happen in January, like recaps of the previous year and plans going forward. Posting everyday for a month is an interesting challenge, and was inspired in part by NaBloPoMo. In November I am quite busy with NaNoWriMo and possibly one year, I will add NaKniSweMo to that pile because I’m insane of course.

I have prepared my plan for the month, full of theme days,  the Saturday and Sunday ones I believe I made up. Though they may exist elsewhere. You have likely seen the first three on other blogs you read.  For example I found WIP Weds and FO Fri with Tami’s Amis

Making Monday  - Something you are working on that is not a knitting project (Spinning, Beading, Sewing, Cooking, Paperwork, etc…)

Work In Progress Wednesday (WIPW) - Something in progress, usually knitting

Finished Object  Friday - Finished object Friday (Knitting, Furniture Assembly, Blog posts, Etsy Update) Did you finish a thing? Talk about it here.

Studying Saturday - Something you used/are using/ have learned from or are learning about. (school, new craft skill, online lessons, live lessons, etc..)

Geek Out Sunday -  Talk about something you love (books, TV, movies, cooking, job, new scientific discovery; something that makes you do an inner Muppet flail)

And on top of theme days I have days where I will be talking about one thing or another and some alternate theme day posts. SO we have a nice Month long series of posts  and then some. So if you are interested in joining or just wondering what I will be talking about in January  there is a full chart below.
