The combination of my new Bosworth spindle and fiber is a bit addicting. It’s a merino, bamboo, nylon blend and the first time I’ve spun that combination. It’s also a larger than my usual braids, so at a little over 6oz it will be a while before I’m done. I may be spoiled for my other spindles.
So progress is good. I also noticed I had pre0-drafted a section much thicker than I would usually do for such a thin yarn but it is going easily enough that I may not bother to thin out the rest of the braid further.
I still have about half of this first prep left to spin so we will see when I am done.
So remember when
Neighborhood Fiber Co. and
Gourmet Stash teamed up and I thought that would be the end of me? Yeah, so Gourmet Stash and
Hobbledeyhoy have a villains and heroes pre-order going and I may have tabs open with
Smaug and
Spock listings. Both? One? None? I may be reaching FABLE (Fiber Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy) levels with the amount of fiber I take in and the amount of yarn I produce. Currently very high on fiber intake…
