Future!Cas broke me and I needed to write something fluffy and silly in order to ease my shattered heart. Oh show I love you so much!

As first kisses go Dean certainly didn’t expect this.
Now he hadn’t necessarily planned out how he would kiss his angel in meticulous detail. He had been thinking more along the lines of going to a bar for a few drinks before heading back to his room to watch cheesy monster flicks, making sure Sam was in a separate room to theirs.
Not that he was expecting his angel to put out after one kiss, but hey, stranger things have happened right?
And ok maybe he’d even been thinking about teaching Cas how to play pool, it was useful to know for scamming people, not that Cas would be ok with that for a second, and maybe it was a shameless excuse to be able to press himself up against his angel. Just maybe.
But he definitely hadn’t meant for the angels first kiss, first proper real kiss to be so, lame.
Ghosts were a bigger pain in the neck than they were worth, and the one that they’d caught wind of in the city they had decided to stay for the night was no exception.
It should have been a simple salt and burn, an easy quick and clean job that would require no more than fifteen minute’s of their time. Sam had the salt lines drawn perfectly, Dean had acquired the little girl’s keepsake box that contained a lock of her hair, and Cas was standing by out of sight wherever angels where when they weren’t in the real world, keeping an eye on them.
All they had to do was keep the spirit distracted while Dean burned the box in the centre of her old bedroom and job done.
Of course nothing was ever that simple.
As soon as one little flicker of flame had gotten close to the box the girl had appeared in all her shrieking flailing glory, furniture and books flying about the room, trying to hit both of the brothers in order to stop them. He gave her points for the little fort she had constructed to block Sam in.
A well-placed smack to his shoulders, with an atlas of all things, made Dean fumble and drop the lighter. In his haste to pick it up and re-light it the little girl had seen it as the perfect opportunity to fling him into the opposite wall.
He was under no illusions that the impact was going to hurt. Like. A. Bitch. He was careening face first into the surface after all. However he was mildly surprised, and a little relieved to suddenly see Cas pop into the vicinity. He would have been more pleased though if the angel had popped in a few feet to the right, instead of the path he was making to the wall.
They collided in a tangle of bodies, Cas thankfully had been able to take the brunt of the impact to avoid any further injury to Dean, but unfortunately he hadn’t been able to stop their mouths from mashing together.
Cas stood frozen still with wide eyes between Dean and the wall, his hands, still clutching the hunter’s back hadn’t moved an inch. Dean was in a similar state of shock, though he regained enough of himself to pull away so their lips were no longer connected.
They both blinked at one another, silence hung heavy in the air, even the little girl ghost seemed to have stopped her flailing and shrieking at what had just inadvertently happened.
Cas appeared to come back to himself as he stood up a little straighter; his mouth opening in what Dean guessed was going to be an apology. No dice.
“ Do over.” He stated, yanking Cas back to him and slanting his mouth over the angel’s, fuck it, Sammy could deal with the little psycho ghost bitch.

I adored the episode so very much, it was absolutely heart-wrenching and painful, but i hold out hope that Dean will find another way!
Comments are love, and please let me know of any mistakes. :)
