I would love to make a tiara Richard icon but I thought the photo was off limits? I have snagged all of these pics. Is it okay to icon them?

p.s. Did you see how good I was to not let my inner 12 year old comment on Matt Cohen and his position/stance with the mic? Because it was veeeeeeeeery tempting.

The Richard Tiara pic is mine and morganoconner's, and we would love for someone to make us a decent icon out of the Richard part (just not us hanging off him, lol)! And you are the awesome when it comes to icons. We don't have the jpeg of it yet, but she made a scan and I took a pic of the pic (I just cropped from the scan to make my placeholder icon). I'd have to ask her what her thoughts are on everyone using the icon after it's made, though. All my other pics you are more than free to icon to your heart's content, including whatever I post to daily_misha tomorrow (later this morning). I have about two hundred more, heh, including some of Matt making Jensen faces that are really washed out, but I bet you could wave your wand and do something if you wanted those kinds of pics. Anyhow, yeah, lots more where these came from, anything you want, I can send you or put in a drop box or something.

I would LOVE to try my hand with the photos. Any way you want to get them to me is good. I can set you up an FTP account on my server for your easy upload if you want or I could download from an MU/MF/whatever account. Tell me what your preference is and I'll work with it. Sooo many really awesome pics coming out of this con; I can hardly wait!

Which of those options is the easiest for someone who's not the most technologically advanced? Not that I don't know what I'm doing, not me...

Are you familiar with FTP? It's the fastest way to upload but you need an FTP application. If you haven't used one before they're easy but it's probably just easier to zip your file and upload to some place like MegaUpload or MetaFilter.

I've never uploaded to either but given their panfandom use, I'm sure they must be relatively easy.

BTW, if y'all want me to make y'all a just-for-you icon I will but I just want to remind you it's the internet and once it goes out, there's no way to control it. It's something to consider before giving me permission. ♥

Yeah, just b/c we say "pic property of us" doesn't mean others won't snag. I'm okay w/ it, as I benefited from squee's photo op of Misha big time, but let me just touch base w/ morgan. I already talked to her about making an icon, hence my shoddy icon, but I'll talk to her again.

I just tested it and was able to upload two photos without telling them who I am. So no account required! \o/ Super easy, yes?

I would definitely want morganoconner to sign off on it since she was adamant about those being off limits. I don't want to step on any toes. Wank is bad for my skin.

This is me signing off! I'd prefer any icons made from it weren't made available for public consumption, but if people steal it after the fact, so be it. Richard in a tiara is to good to not have icons of, lol.
