Summary: Ben Braeden has just moved to California to live with his scientist dad and his schoolteacher uncle after the death of his mother. Things begin to look up for him and his family when he meets the famous sci-fi author, Castiel Novak. (Told in alternating POVs by Ben, Cas, Sam and Dean.)

I really liked the different POVs especially Ben's. You had the characterisations spot on, imho.

Thank you so much! I started out thinking I'd write third-person from Ben's POV, but there were too many places he couldn't go and it didn't make sense to put him in certain situations. Then when I started writing, it came out in first-person and I decided to keep it! I liked writing that way.

I don't have more of this story -- I write a lot of one-shots b/c I am terrible at WIPs -- but the AU that has to be done by March 25th also has kids.
