So y'all know Sam, right? And he's pretty great, yeah? So great that he won an award with Neil Gaiman! And someone else! Score! (This award here: Author Blog Awards.) In honor of this prestigious event, I am gifting Sam with my Ed Hardy page-a-day calendar for today. You want to know what is the coolest thing about the Ed Hardy page-a-day calendar (which is already inherently cool b/c, come on, Ed Hardy is the shit): they have "daily extras" on the back of each page. For electro_club, who spent 21 hours in a bus traversing the Spanish countryside due to Iceland's volcano. If she'd made her travel plans w/ the U.S. Navy, she wouldn't have had to take the bus, now would she? Moral of the story? Go Navy.
For adjovi, who spent a couple of days trying to get out of Africa after the volcano. I picked this punk-ass dog for you, yo! Peace out, homeslice.
For cruentum, who's German, so why am I giving him an American bald eagle, you ask? Simple. THE TATTOO HAS FUCKING ED HARDY'S NAME IN IT! Classy, Ed. Classy.
For paragraphs. The third eye is for wisdom. Supernatural wisdom! For writing aliens and werewolves and shit!
For amand_r. B/c she's my little sweet potato, and isn't an armadillo a sweet potato? Okay. No. B/c an armadillo is pretty damn random, and who would tattoo an armadillo on their body? But it WOULD be funny.
For kel_reiley. She is hands-down the bestest writing partner a chica could have! Who's got the best IDEARS? kel. Who'll do ephemera and banners and coding? kel. Who'll pick up the slack when her partner can't write? kel. kel = love.
For misswinterhill, who I suspect feels like this tattoo at the moment. Almost done, bb! I have shitloads of faith in you. You are awesomesauce on toast.
For neifile7 -- I give you a pretty lady w/ a snake in her hair. B/c in some universe, that makes sense! I was going to choose a buxom blonde and we could pooh-pooh the objectifying image. But I decided to go slightly more obscure and include the one that links women and snakes and what all does that mean? Am I right? Yeah.
For 51stcenturyfox, who's celebrating a birthday soon. This would make a great birthday tattoo! You know the Erma Bombeck book, title is something like "when you look like your passport photo, it's time to go home"? Well, this is the "when you look like your tattoo, it's time to surrender the bottle of booze" tattoo.
For thaddeusfavor -- an emo, Supernatural-worthy tattoo! B/c there is Man!Pain! And angst! And not giving up! And it's so pretty and delicious, and I'm so glad you watch it, too!!
For qthelights, I think this could fit either on your new manager or as a Supernatural tattoo. It's very deep. ;) Especially awesome is the candle on the skull. I can almost hear the chanting!
But Blue! Where are the other little thingies from the backs of the pages? I got damn tired of uploading pics, that's what happened to them! Besides, Sam's was the best. He really needs to know how to take proper care of his panty hose. :)
