Hey, DC metro area peeps! Soothe my worried mind and check in. I think alba17 and thrace_adams live south of me and adjovi drives, but just to be sure...

Well, I'm pretty sure Thrace is in Ohio right now, after I had a chat with her the other day. Will be here until end of July.

Red line is the line my fam in Bethesda uses. Need to check in as well. Glad you posted this, too busy with work today to pay attention to real world.

Ah, I knew thrace was traveling around now, but wasn't sure when exactly. Good to know.

This was on the opposite side from Bethesda, at the Fort Totten metro. Hopefully they wouldn't have been anywhere near it.

Well, hubby's rents live in Bethesda, but his siblings are arrayed around the area down to Silver Springs. They drive more than they ride, so it's probably nothing to worry about anyhow. Never hurts to be sure tho :)

Hello. Not involved in the accident. (Horrible!) Thanks for checking in. Rarely take the Metro, plus different line goes to my area. Obviously, glad you weren't in it either!

Yeah, I figured none of us were near it, but just in case it was the one day you had to pick up a kid from an event in Silver Spring and you couldn't take the car ... my parents, M's parents, and a really good friend of mine all called, just to make sure.

And I'd love a cupcake.

my co-worker would have normally been on a train in that direction at that time, but this morning she found a dog running in the street and, long story short, she couldn't keep it at home and brought it into work. the dog was going to go home w/ our boss, but she (princess buttercup is what i named her) did not want to be parted from TOT (co-worker) and TOT had to take a cab home, instead, w/ said princess buttercup (a yorkie). so princess buttercup saved the day!

tru fax. princess buttercup was wearing a turquoise collar w/ rhinestone flowers attached to it. it looked like her tags came off. she was obviously someone's beloved angel. they just loaned her to TOT for the day.
