Aren't we scaring ourselves unnecessarily?

It has been a boring day. Fell asleep at 9pm last night through to 1.30 am, then stayed up to 7, went back to bed and got up around 12. That night out really fucked up my sleep, but I think I'll sleep ok tonight.

Lauren moved into her uni accommodation today. I talked to her briefly on the phone and she said she was doing fine, having fun and was getting ready to go out. I have another two weeks to wait before I escape. It'll fly by, but I wish I could go tomorrow.

Ordering some music onine and deciding what to go for. I'm thinking Martin Grech and Moloko's "Statues". I'll probably get the new Muse album when it comes out. I thought their music was becoming more of the same, but the new single is a bit different. They're an excellent live band, one of the best I've seen, and they're playing in Glasgow in November. Still deciding whether I should go or not...I'll see what the new album is like first.

I always thought "It's In Our Hands" was only ok until Bjork played it live in London. It had been totally remixed and funked up - I loved it, and now I love the original.

The Soft Pink Truth supported her live on the second night at Shepherds Bush...it was surreal. As far as I remember it consisted of samples (I remember Prince at one point) while 80s softcore gay porn played on the screen. Everyone was like, what the fuck? It was funny.
