Apparently I've to update this thing...
Not been up to much lately. Been working with my dad a few days a week which has got me back into a decent sleeping pattern (my sleeping has been buggered all summer). Went to the pub last night - been spending a lot of time there recently, not always to get drunk, just to hang out and play pool. Ended up back at Laura's house where we drank Port and talked til 4am, when I got thrown out.
I'm dead excited about uni. I move to Edinburgh three weeks tomorrow, and I'm itching to get out of this place. A few months ago the thing that put me off was the fact that three people I know are going to the same uni as me. I fancied a clean break, not to contiue hanging our with the same people. But now I'm pretty excited about living in the same building as Susie - it wasn't planned, just happened by accident, but we've been getting on great recently and have a good laugh, so it's cool that she'll be there too.
I'm considering selling a kidney to afford Lauren's birthday next week. Nah, I'll manage...it's just that with uni coming up we're all skint, and Lauren has decided we're all going to go into Glasgow, eat in a trendy restaurant and then go on a pub/club crawl later. We'd suggest goig to Stirling instead, it's closer, but it's Lauren's birthday, so...
Ach, it'll be fun. Laura Downie wanted to bring her boyfriend Ross along, though. We're all fed up wih him...he's known us for months but he's still a rude git and doesn't speak to us, even though a few of us really make an effort. At first we put it down to shyness, but it's just ignorant. He tagged along with us when we went out for Susie's 18th, and he's about 16 so got in nowhere, and we kept having to switch venue. It was a total pain in the arse, and the same would happen again if he came to Glasgow with us. Laura expects us to be happy to spend time with him, but he makes no effort whatsoever so why should we pretend? Anyway, Lauren told her, "it's a girly nght out, apart from Jon and Dave"...haha. Nice one. That's like saying you're a vegetarian who eats chicken. But it worked!
