(no subject)
Well it's been 6 months since my last post.
Allot has happened, and yet nothing has happen.... kinda like running in mud.
I have a new job (That's good!) It's Stream (That's bad) But I should be making enough to have a small place (That's good) just in time to be nearly kicked out (That's bad)
*shrug*
I did get to do this contract for a bunch of school kids, putting there heads on movie posters. It was 3 longs days of work, and some stress trying to find posters with female leads that aren't sexual (harder than you think) but after it was done I felt proud of my work, and heard the teachers loved it. One teacher said she was amazed how my poster choices were so spot on with the kids personalities, it was like I knew them. That my me feel good :)
I have a couple other small editing jobs, preparing head shots for print in the Londoner, and some logo design, who knows, it just keeps going into my portfolio maybe I can do something with this later :)
I'd like to go up and see Amy and Colin soon. I didn't get a chance to see Amy last time we where up, and she always gives me a good chuckle with her....Amy-ness. And Colin is good to hang out with.
I was considering the idea of renting a posh hotel room for the weekend somewhere in Kitchener, so we'd have the pool and gym and little bar, and it would be like a little vacation without ever leaving the city. Just a thought.
I'm looking forward to starting at Stream, Less for the job but more for meeting new people and making friends... I'm dreading getting to work though.. it's all the way cross town, and I will have to catch 2 or 3 buses and still walk for 15-20 minutes... uphill... in the snow... both ways...
Oh Erica came back to see us, since everyone who reads this knows that it's not news, but still. Awesome.
