I loved it! I was a little apprehensive about the pairing, but need not have been at all - it was a beautiful, romantic tale - the slow build up, the teasing, the "missing you" and then the romantic reconcilliation with a promise of more . . .

I especially like the way you've shown that John is an intelligent man, even in in the context of his temporary job: the way that he was able to observe and infer things about Mycroft was very satisfying.
