Ohmygosh a proper post!
So, its been a while. If you follow me on twitter you may have seen I've finally got a new job. I start in just under two weeks, and I should be finishing up at my current job next Wednesday. I say should as there's a chance I can make Friday my last day, if all goes well.
The company is moving to teleworking as a temporary basis, as they've handed in our notice to the landlords of our office and they can't find anywhere suitable and affordable. The lease is up at the end of the month, which is Monday. There is absolutely no point in me working from home for three days. None. So, we've having a proper catch up tomorrow I'm hoping I'll be finishing on Friday!
A full week off before starting my job will make my life so much easier. So much. And I'm really looking forward to this new job! I'm really hoping it's going to be ok. At least it'll be less stressful? And I'll get paid on time? Without worries that I won't? I'll be the only girl in the office, which will be weird, but everyone seemed ok, just a little socially awkward. Which I can relate to!
Tattooooo next Thursday :D Excited about that. There will be many photos!
Soooooooooo excited about summer pornathon starting up! I've also signed up to rarepairs, and signups close on Saturday, so I'm excited to see my assignment! I've offered easy, familiar fandoms and pairings, which is nice.
Mating Games was fun, even if I flagged towards the end. This job is just eating up all my energy. I've not got any stress and anxiety for my new job, it's all wasted at this one! But, I don't think I was too bad a mod, and we didn't come last, and everyone who participated had a good time, I think :)
