So, this morning we went to view a house we are looking to buy. It's gorgeous, beautifully decorated, clean, in really good condition. The kitchen has a skylight! There are dimmer switches! And loads of storage space!
So we go and fall in love. We arrange to speak to a mortgage advisor next saturday to get the mortgage finalised. We go about our day.
We get a phonecall on the way home from the estate agents saying an offer had been put in, but the owner is waiting to hear back from us as we seemed really interested. So we offer the asking price. The offer is accepted.
WE MIGHT GET TO BUY AN AWESOME HOUSE! Like adults or something.
Obviously there are a million different places this could fall through but eeee!
In fannish news I am editing my PL and adding words etc. My editing is half 'oh my beta makes a good point/suggestion/oh I could do this here, this would make it better' and half 'oh god, look at how awful my writing is, I bet my beta hates me for all this omg omg omgggg'. Which is not fun, but all part of the process, yeah? I need to be able to roll with this type of concrit and not let it get me into a funk.
