Woohoo!
Job Interview at the Body Shop on Monday at 2pm!
I'm so excited!!!
If it gets me out of this job I will be so happy!
So, right now I am looking at the Body Shop site, trying to learn a bit more about there products............ However due to their page not being a shopping page, you don't really get very far! LOL! However, I figured I know a bit about them; they don't do sponsered campaiges for sports days or anything like that, nor do they support a well known charity. Instead they support the underdog; the people whose charities have been over looked due to the other top dogs gaining more support. Also they are against animal testing, and won't use products that have been used on animals; and they also support producer communities from all alround the world, they also support human rights (Go team!), and they believe that every business has a responsibility to the enviroment. Add to the fact that they treat you as a person and will be more than happy to let you leave the shop without buying anything is outstanding! LOL!
Okay, so the last one isn't true; but they do treat you like a person, rather than someone to get money out of.
The extremely weird thing about this is, my Mum (who works along side me) also has an interview, only on Tuesday, and at 9.30am! LOL! Its a shop called Matchbox which is a ladies clothing shop......... or would that be boutiqui? (Yea, i have no idea how you spell that, but I was never hired for my spelling! LOL!) So she's all excited as well, and just realised that she would need to wear something!! LOL!
It was funny, you should have been there.
Ah............ So, moving swiftly on; Friday: Pray for me.
Why?
My last name is MacAskill.
Confused? You shouldn't be.
During the war (Second World War) my Great Grandpa Alexander 'Sandy' MacAskill fought on war ships. These war ships sank. Usually my Great Grandpa was the only surviver. The best story I was ever told of his was when he was due to come home to Skye; and he was meant to go on the evening ship, however a man came up to him and pleaded with him to change tickets, so that Sandy would have to get the next day ship instead; due to the fact that the man's wife had just had a baby, Sandy did (what he though) was the right thing. The ship sank, and no one survived.
I have no idea if any of you have heard of a BBC programme called 'Only Fools and Horses', of which there was an Uncle who was always talking about his time 'during the war'; and how every single submirine he was on, sank. LOL!
I find that quiet funny, probably not so at the time, but...........................
Anyway; due to that fact, I shall be sitting in a lifeboat, with a life ring around me.
LOL!
All this for my other Papa's 80th b-day, goin' doon tha wata, as the more 'common' Glasweigians say. LOL!
I'll later have any angry Glasweigian read this and hunt me down.
And considering how well known we Glasweigians are at being violent, it shouldn't surprise anyone.
So, that was a fun speech............................................ Do I have anything to add to it though...............?
