Road To Bedlum
Right now it's really is all go over here; and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
I probably need to catch everyone up; since I have kinda stopped posting on here - due to my laziness more than anything, I'm still reading posts.
Let's see, um about a month ago my boss informed me that she was going back to her old shop in Buchanan St and was taking the Trainee Manager's with her; to be honest I was fine with that, because the woman who was running the shop there was doing an alright job, to be honest though it's Buchanan St, that place rake in cash like no tommorrow. So that went down all right with me, considering that I'm scared of my former boss and one of the Trainee Manager's. I then find out that they are taking about 5 member's of staff with them! Which really made me rather **** ***! Because Buchanan St is far easier to get to than where I am now. Anyway, that was done and we later find out that one of the Trainee Manager's from Buchanan St had to be let go. We all learned that it was due to the Big Boss man who runs the whole company; that he wanted to swap and from what the Trainee Manager that I like told me, the other Trainee Manager didn't make that great an impression on the Big Boss man - though we both agreed that it was more likely to be out of nerviousness that she drank so much than anything else; I mean this is the man who founded the company! It's on par to meeting Richard Branson; if you get my meaning.
Anyway, I got over it since we meet the two people; the manager reminds me of a wee elf; and the Trainee Manager is lovely. But we need another Trainee Manager and so interviews are being held. Back to the subject, they brought with them 3 of there staff from Buchanan St (it should be noted that Buchanan St have more staff due to the fact that they are on 2 floors, not a big shop floor wise, but with 2 floors you need at least 2 members of staff on each floor.) Now 1 of them has left to do something that she has trained to do; and so we have the other 2, both of whom are part-timers; they were both made key-holders as well; which kinda annoyed me due to the fact that I am a full timer and so I could have been a key holder for them; due to the key holder that used to be there had gone to Buchanan St. I'm not planning on arguing with them mainly because I was thinking that they would want to have people that they know rather than us; but one girl whom is still there pointed out to me that it's our shop, we were the one's who were there at the start.
I probably should just shrug it off though, nothing will come of it anyway.
Next topic is my Gran. My mum's mum. Lost her balance on Thursday morning (3am) and phoned our house to tell mum that she had fallen and was bleeding from a cut to her forehead. My mum was the one to phone for emergancey services. My dad was slightly annoyed needless to say; since myself and he had to go to work that morning and my wee sister had school; they didn't get home until 7.30am. My self and my weel sister stayed at home due to the time and that we would probably get in the way. Though it made me think; rarely does my Papa ever get to speak on the phone, now he is deaf in one ear I will admit that, but he does have a hearing aid in the other ear and can hear pretty well so long as you talk to him on the side that he can hear and not behind him, and also if you speak clearly too; anyway I wondered why was it my Gran who phoned and not him? She couldn't have hit her head that badly. Anyway, she has 11 stitches and is doing fine; nurses come in twice a day to help her bathe and to cook their dinner at night; which means that we know that Papa is going to get a decent meal rather than half a sandwich.
On more cheerful and less stressful side of things, I may slowly be getting back into Saiyuki, after watch the first volume of Reload last night; and most likely will buy the 2nd volume tomorrow. I think the dubbed voice actor's for MVM are starting to rub off on me; I don't mind them so much as I did before; though that may have been because before I watched Saiyuki: The Motion Picture a day before and the ADV voice actors are completely different.
