one way to save nylons is to spray them a little with some hairspray, at a distance of course, and not too much! maybe it only works for me, or i've purchased amazing nylons and tights...i don't know! i shop mostly online for my shoes...but look for a place like dynamic shoes in kitchener in town...they carry larger sizes and can tend toward the goth/club feel.
it's been there for ages, it's beside where the king centre 'used' to be. looks divey, but there's sometimes good shoes. and the owner is super nice. it doesn't matter if i haven't been in for a year, she always remembers me. there are shoe stores like it everywhere, the owners are usually asian or east indian. i believe that there was one similar on yonge across from the eaton centre, though i can't recall the name of it now! give it a try though, sometimes from the outside they appear to be nothing interesting, but there are usually really good finds to be had within.
Oh okay maybe I do remember it then..sort of across from City Hall...we used to hit the King Centre in our dirt mall days. Will check it out next time I'm down.
it's going out for business sign finaly became a going out of business. The younge place closed down a couple of years ago. Though there's an Aldo outlet there.
