Thanks to everyone who greeted me last week. I've been harried at work and with real life events (more on that once I get all my thoughts together!) and I've spent a lot of time sleeping to recover from the stream of bad luck. =_=;
blind_go mini-round is done! Yes, I wrote the four drabbles under the name Kimura. No guesses this round, I think because I pre-empted Ver's guessing me by showing her everything (cousin love~♥) And surprise, I can actually talk about the drabbles at length.
The one one which I spent two-thirds of the time to write
I was working on this for the longest. I had the idea outlined in my head, but it wouldn't really work until the last week of the challenge. I've always wanted to do something Kishimoto/Mitani-ish, but never could get Mitani right. Mitani's too much like a cat, you know? ^w^; After deciding that I was a decided Kishimoto-type, I wrote it in his POV. I had too much fun with his mental flailing.
The one I made specifically to get osmalic cry
me: *pets* Will it make you happy to know that I am 162 words into a drabble for you to beta?
osmalic: :D YES. REALLY?
me: ALSO YOU WILL NEVER GUESS THE PAIR. OR NON-PAIR. OR WHATEVER
osmalic: ..............OH GOD IT'S GOING TO MAKE ME CRY.
And it did.
This probably gave me the least trouble to write, except for grammar getting in my way. The idea came during an operating system reinstall at work. I was going through all the artbook pics in my head when I realized that in every single one where Sai was in, Sai would make a vacant spot by Shindou. And I let the drabble take its course. The end. ^^; Thank you osmalic, for the beta. It would've have been so nice without your help.

Specifically on the possible lack of minor character love. I was planning to write a Kenkyuusei fic as part of the five drabbles, but it wouldn't really gel, so I jumped ship (figuratively) and did something I always find easy to work with, which is Kaga and Tsutsui in an almost there but not-quite relationship. ^^;

Um yes, first things first, I really had no idea what to title the fic, hence Broken Troika. Online dictionaries didn't provide me the Russian meaning of the word, I had to rely on a really old Merriam-Webster and headdesk on it. Well. The other option for the title was Broken Threesome, and well *coughs* noonewantsanisumiwayaochithreesomeright?
This one was unbeta-ed, because I was flailing in chat about it when the deadline hit. On second reading, it definitely has to be reworked into a longer story, but I'm going to check on it and it might get longer. ;_;
