Ozette, Sybak. Not.. unhelpful so much as incredibly frightened by what's going on. The lack of military forces of any kind is sadly quite apparent here. While civilian courage is clearly on the rise, that doesn't always help much when all they have for armory is a couple of hatchets and a pitch-fork to go around. As expected, the population of Heimdall wasn't very forthcoming with hospitality nor did they seem overly interested in participating in a larger meeting for discussing what we can indeed do to reduce these monsters. While Meltokio is last on the list, I heard something quite.. disturbing when I was still staying in Sybak.
Apparently there have been repeated sightings of what looks to be Exire - which we all know to be moving about as it will thanks to Maxwell - but enveloped in a thick fog. I'm concerned that it might be another appearance of the same type of mist that is plaguing Izoold. I pray that it isn't, but I still think that some sort of investigation should be mobilized ASAP, just to be on the safe side, you understand?
I'll keep moving south from here. Hopefully the Castle will be more easily influenced by actual presence than mere word when it comes to allowing an audience. This whole stand of theirs is becoming ridiculous.
